I have some parts taken in a church. There is a lot of echo, echo in a church is normal, but sometimes the echo in the movie is anoying.

What tool should i use to reduce echo in the movie?

There is no tool that can remove echo that is recorded in the sound.

There are tools that will ADD echo to sound.

The best way is to not record echo in the first place. You can eliminate most echo by putting a Microphone close to the sound source.

In other words, do not use the camera's built in microphone, use an external microphone.

Investigate getting a wireless microphone for your camcorder.

Carl312 thanks for the answer. I found a solution.

Open the soundtrack in Cyberlink Wave editor. Reduce the lower frequency in the equalizer (lower the bass) the echo seems to be in the lower frequency.

Lift the higher frequency a bit. Than save the file.

Open it again in wave editor and add back bass... The echo seems to be gone and the sound still sounds good.

When you are recording in a church it is not allways possible to place only one microphone, you need more than one, after that the synchronisation with the video is a bit tricky i think. (for an amature)

Good, you found a solution,
If you have multiple Microphones, you would need a mixer to mix all of them to one input on the camera. So audio sync is not a problem.

Audio sync is only a problem if separate recordings.
Even then you can sync the audio in PD.
