extra content installation
[Post New]
Kind of a strange one.
I have been having PD crash issues with my main Vista machine so I thought what the heck, try it on another.
It seems to work just fine on my weaker XP laptop that I use as a backup in case of a bad day.
My issue is that I can't get the Extra Content package that came with PD9 to show up.
The install goes fine but none of the extra SmartSound stuff shows up.
Looking at the SS properties window I see in the Folders tab that the core foundations are listed as not available.
Seems to me that they should be.

Is there a trick I forgot about or some other download I need.

Thanks

If you have a Downloaded version, you should have two installation files, one is the program itself, the other is the Contents Package.

You very likely did not install the Contents.

Actually I did, twice.
Even uninstalled everything with prejudice and started over.
I am see the dialogue ballons that were part of the extra. Just don't see the extra smartsound files.
It's a mystery.

Did you remember to upgrade the smartsound engine?
The current version is 5180.

Maybe CL cleaner software will help your problem.

CL Cleaner does not remove anything, it just makes it possible to re-install your Cyberlink software (Powerdirector and its parts).
