Customizing a WMV using Windows Media Encoder 9

I recently landed a part time job with XOS Digital, specializing in High School football recruiting. As a videographer for the company I must film the football games and then upload them to the company's website server. Only problem is when I customize the WMV profile, it's nowhere to be found in the Produce tab when I select WMV file...can this be done using PD 6? The attributes must be 1 key frame every 1 second, needs to be 720x480 framesize, and at 1500kb/s bit rate.

Hi Ludrick,
Congratulations on the part-time post.

NTSC location - yes?

Yes you can alter the template in PD6 just as any other with wmv templates. The initial simple tutorial I made for PD6 inspired others to make one for later builds.

Be sure to have changed the internal prx template name,.

If you're in doubt attach what you've made to your post. I'll look at it and "tweak it" and attach another to my reply.

Hi Ludrick,
Please find attached two templates for you to insert.

1. Created to Ludrick's specifications off his forum post. Frame size = 720x480
FPS = 29.97
Video = 1427 kbps
Audio = 68kbps
Key Frame = 1 per second

2. Created to Ludrick's specifications off his forum post. Frame size = 720x480
FPS = 15
Video = 1427 kbps
Audio = 68kbps
Key Frame = 1 per second

If you need any tweaked let me know.

The prx sample you provided had a "mixed" frame size (NTSC) and was PAL based. I checked your IP address to see where you were located and created an NTSC prx template. If you want the prx file for a different purpose or size, let me know.
