Timeline for 24fps projects

From an earlier post I understand the timeline can be set to PAL (25fps) or NTSC (30fps). I'm trying to do a frame accurate 24fps project where I'm laying down 24 unique frames over and over to create a test pattern. Anyway, I figured I would set the time line to 25fps and just keep count manually of how long it will be based on the number of frames I've added and I would then just render it out as a AVC 1080/24p from a standard template and all would be good. Not so....the file produced is NOT frame accurate with some frames dropped and others duplicated.

Does anyone know of a workaround to get frame accurate 24fps out of PD9?

Thanks
Nathan

Nathan, the default for PD9 is as you've found, sorry I don't have a workaround for you.

Thanks Dafydd,
I'm sure this is an obvious suggestion and if it is already passed onto Cyberlink then appologies, but all NLE's should allow you to set the project timeline (and settings in general) = your intended output. PD9 lets you render to a whole range of of fps in the existing profiles out of box but we are missing the appropriate timelines for all but NTSC and PAL:

Rendering / Timeline Option (comment)
10fps / Use NTSC (30fps)
15fps / Use NTSC (30fps)
20fps / No Corresponding Timeline option
23.976 / No Corresponding Timeline option
24fps / No Corresponding Timeline option
29.97 / Use NTSC + Droped Frames option
30fps / Use NTSC (30fps)
50fps / You can use PAL option but you will only see every second frame on the timeline
59.94 / You can use NTSC + Droped Frames option but you will only see every second frame on the timeline
60fps / You can use NTSC option but you will only see every second frame on the timeline
