Removing audio pops/chirps from between clips?

helping my son out tonight put together our vacation trip video clips for him to compile for a YouTube video we noticed during clip transitions there would sometimes be a pop/chirp to the audio at the start of a new clip. The only way I could figure to eliminate it was to open the audio editor for the clip, and drag the volume all the way down for the first second or so of audio. This seemed to work ok but it was kind of tedious and I figured there has to be a more simple way to do this for the entire project rather than going clip by clip? Can someone point me in the right direction?

There were audio issues reported when the PD21/365 was released. In PD365 it was fixed after a few program updates that needed to be done. The PD21 can be remedied by installing a patch. See this in the sticky: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/97788.page .It may help if no updates were done.

Make sure that you have upgraded to PD 365 version 21.0.2214.0 which should not have those audio issues anymore.

I'm not sure they really have it fixed. I showed here https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/97787.page#post_box_393179 and replicated by PDM with "corrected" 365 that one can get a total loss of audio between clips with the new patch. I wouldn’t maybe call it a pop/chirp but definitely annoying. Several factors affect when/if it occurs, but I find it occurring somewhere on virtually every timeline I've done.

PDM replicated with 365 but writes of a 365 push that apparently minimized issue but PDM says it's still present. Unfortunately, PDM specified no version number so unsure if a 365 released push or a test push for some. I believe it would have to be something post 21.0.2214.0 release for 365 users though and still not available to perpetual users.
