Biography: Ok, Michael, I will give you the opertunity to suceed where tech support has failed entirly and totaly. I hope you can give a real trouble shooting solution. her it goes. I downloaded the power DVD Ultra Mark II software and I cannot play a regular dvd with this software. I purchased it to watch starwars all episodes from region 1 which my dvd player is set to. Yet, when i put the dvds in either my blueray drive or my regular DVD rw, all I get is a glimpse of the first picture in sterioscopic 3d and then all I get is white fuz in 3d. I have explained this to tech support and they are like a talking parrot; I just get a repeat of what I already told them. Under my avatar I loaded the DX diag file for 64 bit in hopes that you can view it. If you look at the tickets I have already filed I have given the benchmark results for the mopst rescent versions power DVD 10 and I have also included the DXDIAG 32 and 64 Bit versions for my system yet I have gotten no where with Tech support. I am very dissapointed with the agent that I unseemingly got stuck with, because as soon as they realized that I was not the usual user I should have been elavated to a more advaced technichian. Which should have been aparrent from my first complaint. I explained that I had the most up to date drivers yet the tech support agent sent me back links to get the most up to date drivers. If you can figure this one out, cudoes to you, but I meet all the requirments yet I can not even play a simple dvd with the softawe via 3d or otherwise. If you can give me a means to upload the files for your analysis I will do so but I am tired of dealing with people that have a very low knowledge of the software and don't give me any troubleshooting options. I have spent more than 8 hours of my time trying to troubleshoot this software that includes deleting hiden files and doing a clean install, trying different versions of 3d vision drivers, and dowloading the software then error checking and defragging my hard drives. I have updated the firmware for both of my drives, dvd and blue ray and still I get nothing but fuzz in Power DVD 10 ultra mark II, I have a GTX 285 Classified video card by evga, 12 Gigs of ram corsare xmps, a 3.06 I7 quad core cpu overclocked to 4.01, 3, Westerndigital 500gig hardrives in raid zero, and a 4x classified evga motherboard, all of these components are up to date and verified. I also have updated every software program I can think of in the hopes that the Power DVD software would work, including Direct X and microsoft visual c++and firmware updates for the dvd rw drive and and blue ray rw drive. Furthermore, I Error checked the harddrives and defragmented them just to be sure I wan't getting a corrupt install from the download. The tech support agent then desided to tell me that I had not given him enough information by providing the 64bit and 32 bit version of dxdiag and the older Power dvd benchmark results , along with dvd region and region code with all of the specific dvds. Even though I had told them prior to this discussion I play 3d games on a regular basis using 3d vision. Give me a break I only have region 1 dvds, and that is what both dvd drives are set to. I told the agent that both drives have manual DMA IRQ status and I don't even think he knew what I was talking about, let alone have the capability to tell me what to do to troubleshoot the progam. The only reason I bought this software was to be able to watch my non blue ray 2d titles in 3d So if the information I have provided is not enough look at my support tickets or I will happily repost them for analysis I want this software to work, but so far I have been met with a barage of idiots and baffoons.
