Create disc reverts to Desktop

I recommended PowerDirector as I am a user. When he attempts to create a disc with his project on the timeline the program shuts down and reverts to the Desktop. Any suggestions?

This is a known issue. Please have him read this post and either download and install the appropriate patch or uninstall the Intel video driver and install an older version. The video driver approach is recommended if the patch version is lower than the installed version of PD.
