Hi all new to forum has anyone tried the Intensity Pro capture card using PD9 it has
HDMI IN AND OUT PLUS ANALOGUE CAPTURE
Just that I'am thinking of purchasing this card only £150 at Amazon

I no I can capture with Premiere Pro and Vegas, and it comes with a small capture program so I could always import
the files into PD9.
Just was looking for more information

Thanks in Advance

Hi Tom and welcome to the forum,

I have a feeling that you are going to let us know if it works with PD9. I haven't heard of anyone using that particular capture setup in the forum...so you let us know how it works. If it isn't recognized by PD9...it sounds like it will be a pretty straight forward task to just import the capture video directly into PD9.

But ....maybe someone is using that capture card and will have some feedback to share with you.

And I am a 50 year old man stuck in an 100 year old body!! My kids are wearing me out!

Regards,

KEvin

Thanks for the reply Kevin.

I will have this Blackmagic Intensity card by end of next week will let you no how I get on,
also I must say I'am very pleased with PD9 NOW THAT IT IS 64BIT,
what a difference it makes I think it is the best mid range editing application out there, even beats premiere pro elements which I have

cheers for now

hi Tom,

I am glad you are enjoying PD9...not everyone is. There are issue for some people, and it stands to reason as there are lots of PC's out there with different setups. There are issues that everyone may run across, but it all depends on what and how you use the application.

Look forward to hearing how that capture card works out for you.

Regards,

Kevin

Any update on this? I tried it and when I do capture, it doesn't see the BM IP card. I'm connecting via HDMI input on the card.
