PD7 "Powerdirector not responding"

Hi Guys, you've probably seen this a thousand times before.

I've contacted CS a thousand times but to no avail.

Can someone please tell me how to stop PD7 2726 from freezing up.

It has happened to all versions I have owned PD5, 6, and & 7 Ultra.

PS Can't download patch 3017 either. CS not very helpful.

You're right - many of us have had the same problem, though maybe not thousands of times!

That is exactly what I do when PD misbehaves.

I'm not sure why the update patch won't download for you... are you getting it from here? http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/powerdirector/patches_en_US.html
