Just downloaded and installed the patch to upgrade my 3.0 to 3.7, and now when I get to the VCD/DVD/BluRay screen, the options for disc capacity and aspect ratio remain blank, and if I try to just click the right arrow button, the entire program crashes and generates an error message. Is it necessary to uninstall and re-install? I did the patch upgrade as I needed to adjust the aspect ratio of video files when burning.

Thanks!

This patch 3.7 is only retail version PowerProducer, not OEM!

Best regards

Solve the problem? ....buy another program, like Adobe Premiere Elements...that's what I'm doing! I've had it with Cyberlink & their bad upgrades

Just got my Premiere Elements today. Started using it, and after 20 minutes, was TOTALLY convinced the switch was the right thing to do. VERY POWERFUL program, and you can modify almost everything...and guess what? FAR LESS than buying Cyberlink's Power Producer & PowerDirector only $ 85.00 shipped to my door. C.L.'s two programs cost me close to $ 100.00. TONS of templates (mostly motion menus), and I can move the buttons around wherever I want!!! try that Cyberlink?

Take my advice....SWITCH before you get too deep into the C.L. Money pit! GOOD BYE C.L. :

Cyberlink has a BIG PROBLEM!!!! It's time that Cyberlink made their program easy to uninstall so that people won't get angry and buy elsewhere. You cannot even reinstall the program because it never properly uninstalls. The people who work at Cyberlink as well as the owners know this... So isn't about time that they F&*^CKIN did something about this problem????

it's been 5 years since I dumped Cyberlink's garbage. I'm still using Adobe Premiere Elements, and loving it. If you have kids in school, you can check "Studica's" website and perhaps get it at a better price. I did!
