Release Notes :

Adds support for Nikon KeyMission 360 camera.-

Improves the compatibility of MOV video.-

Fixes the issue that font size is not applied in the Motion Tracker and Menu Designer.-

Fixes the issue that OpenCL acceleration cannot be enabled with some Intel GPUs in Windows 10.-

Fixes the crash issue when previewing Express Projects.-

Fixes the crash issue when adjusting the mask for Mosaic effect.-

Fixes the crash issue when seeking on rendered timeline.-

Fixes the issue that the mouse wheel scrolling behavior is changed when clicking on the timeline.-

Fixes the issue that the mouse cursor is broken with some GPUs when using 150% high DPI in Windows display settings.-

Fixes the issue that hardware decoding sometimes malfunctions.-

This appears to work correctly and restore previous mouse functionality.

Literally, just downloaded the latest version of powerdirector to evaluate for 360 workflow. Of course, the moment i load it i get the error message that it's not the right version due to its incompatability with Nikon keymission 360. See this forum thread with a download and of course after downloading the update. I can't apply it.

so, is there any way i can get a working latest version that DOES support Nikon Keymission 360?

any help appreciated

I just wanted to mention that I came here to find a solution to a glitch that happened several PD15 uses ago and persisted until just now. The glitch is not listen in the original post, but installing the patch solved my issue. So I don't know if it's by luck or if the patch accutally addesses the problem I experienced. Either way, after the patch, operation was restored to normal.

The glitch I had is that several of my button went crazy and somehow hid themselves behind others. See attached screen shot. Note, the affected section is highlighted with a yellow oval.

Just downloaded and installed patch v2421, a 1 minute .mov clip from my Iphone 7 Plus (1080p 60fps) played back very choppy and slow in preview before any edits. The same clip played very smoothly in Wondershare Filmora. This is the same for all video I have taken with my Iphone. Am I missing something?

I just converted the .mov file to .mp4 and tried again in PD 15 and the clip played smoothly. Must be a real problem with .mov files from the Iphone. I certainly hope they can fix this.

Hello HDedit,

I have been informed by CyberLink that while testing the beta patch QA found a side effect (bug) caused by the fix in the screen recorder. So they needed to roll the changes back to fix it correctly.

There wasn't enough time to fully test the new fix in the v2421, so it will be in the next beta patch.

In the meantime, you can apply the hotfix again to use the Screen Recorder, as the side effect issue is minor.

That's what I figured, I'll report that it does not work then, at least for me. No HVEC hardware encoding with AMD R9 Fury, VCE3.0 compliant. Just basic H.264 and XAVC S hardware encode supported with Crimson 16.12.1 drivers and WIN10.

Hi Jeff,

After your feedback and some research, the product team realizes that more work is required to support this for some AMD GPUs, such as yours. Therefore, they asked us to remove the statement that this beta patch adds support for all of the AMD GPUs.

They will work with AMD to deliver this feature for all AMD GPUs in the near future.

Will Cyberlink restore MPEG2 audio Layer 2 processing in PowerDirector 15? For some unusual reason it was removed with the update of PD15 so that MPEG2 can only be saved with Dolby Digital. The TV company I make programs for requires MPEG2 audio layer 2. For Cyberlink to remove that option from PD15 means that I spent money on an upgrade that is now useless to me. You need to add it back in a new patch/upgrade. Thanks.

From what I've seen this issue is not a universal problem, it's standalone player dependent. I've sent you a link via PM of a BD folder created with this beta that you can burn to see if the issue is corrected for you. Based on beta release notes posted, I see no reason to believe this as well as many other issues are addressed.

The folder was create with HA, GTX1070, 375.63 drivers.
