Is there any way to prevent PowerDVD from auto-launching every time I put a disk in? I've got version 6.6. It's really pissing me off, and I'm on the verge of uninstalling this and switching to WinDVD or something like it if that will fix the problem.

EDIT: I deleted my original answer because I found out it was wrong. Sorry for the confusion.

However, there must be a way to do what you want because my version 6 does not auto-launch when I insert a DVD. Not sure why though. Hopefully someone will have an answer for you.

Hello,

U can set the Auto play option under Windows XP.
Steps:
1. Open "MyComputer".
2. Right click on the DVD drive icon
3. Select Properties -> Select AutoPlay Tab.
4. First Select the "Content Type" as DVD movie and then select the "Action" as "PowerDVD".
