i have run the tool and everything is green except
graphics card which is ati x1200 shows as grey
video connection type is showing digital( without HDCP) RED. however this was like this when i first installed and as mentioend below was able to watch a 2 full HD/BluRay disks.
i recently purchased a LG - blu-ray HD drive for my PC. im running windows vista premium edition. i installed the power DVED ultra software that come free with the drive. everything installed fine and i have watched 1 HD video in full and 1 blue ray. my problem at first was that i couldnt change the aspect ratio to go full screen on my 37" HD LCD. so i installed nero 8 as i know this used to let me force to change the aspect ratio however i kept receiving an error saying HDCP couldnt be enabled. i tried to run up power DVD and received the error there as well.
the thing is i also updated to the latest ATI graphics as i was trying to increase my secreen resolution to the maximun. also when i installed the cyberlink software it installed the LG auto firmware updater, which updated my HD bluray drive to the latest firmware.
i have now uninstalled NEro and reinstalled cyberlink DVD. when i run up for the first time it asked me to Download a patch - i didnt get this the first time round. i downloaded but still get the HDCP error.
i know that my TV is HD, graphics card is HDCP compatible, im using DVI-D and have a blu-ray drive and this set up originally worked until i started playing.
im currently in the process of trying nero9 trial.
has anyone got any suggestions. also im NOT running dual monitor.
