Yeah I fixed mine!!

The fix was to scrap all this rubbish Beta testing for nub programmerz, and go out and buy a seperate 3D Bluray player.. Just make sure it is after wasting all your money, time and effort dealing with this stuff

I found in my case that ATI/AMD are more likely the cause, and I am waiting for a Catalyst driver to be released that could possibly fix it.. but who knows when that might be. In the mean time my Samsung 3D Bluray player works sweet!

Why do do they advertise 3D?? This product does not work. Powerdvd 10 and now powerdvd 11 both fail at 3D bluray on late model tvs. This crap is only made for old dlp 3D ready sets as it works great before my tv upgrade.

I cannot believe there is still no fix for this. Everyone with newer tv's are saying this software will not play bd 3D through 1.4 hdmi.

Why?

My CPU is not the problem. My games and all other 3D apps are working fine with nvidea 3dplay.

Yet when try a blue-ray I get the error message that I
should change my output.

I even made the mistake of upgrading from powerdvd 10 to powerdvd11 with the assumption that maybe, just maybe the new software was needed for the new side by side 3D.

I build my entire HTPC thinking that this would be a function. Instead I am handicapped by poor software that makes false claims and does not work.

Please fix the Koenig 1.4 hdmi 3D issue!!!

Same problem with Catalyst 11,7 and 11.8 preview released today. I believe this must be cyberlinks fault.

Checking the Blu-ray Disc & 3D Advisor on Blu-ray 3D says pass to all except AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series (it says no to my ati 6950?)

Hi, I think I´m lucky, and hope can help to solve this problem.

My HTPC:

Asus Rampage III Extreme
Core i7 980 x
ATI 6990
ViewSonic PJD 6531w
PDVD11

I have no problem to enable 3d 120 Hz. Then I change the proyector to Viewsonic Pro 8500, better than 6531, but not supported by PowerDVD. But, I watch blu ray 3D without problems.

About one week I change sata SSD to Revodrive X2 PCIe, all ok, same configuration I think, very quick and better sound. But I lost 3d!

Now i boot with Revo for 2D movies and CD music. If I want to watch in 3D I boot with my previus SSD.

I think, Cyberlink can check diferences in my both configurations to find the solution. What kind of report can I send?

Bests regards

I have an OZC vertex 2 with firmware 1.33. Can the SSD firmware cause this? Not so long ago I did an SSD firmware upgrade, bios upgrade and swapped out the catalyst and powerdvd 10 to powerdvd 11. Someone found a work-around using Catalyst 11.7 (used to require downgrading catalyst version for workaround) and Total Media Theater.

Pretty much the gist of the work around is to start playback, let the software force the wrong resolution, then go to CCC (Catalyst Control Center) to change resolution back to 1080p. Since PowerDVD doesn't let you change resolution after playback starts this work around doesn't work with PowerDVD. Hopefully this info will at least help CyberLink track down the issue since we know it's technically possible.

Same problem: ATi HD 6970 and Philips 3D TV.
3D via HDMI 1.4 is not working. Other modes are working.

Quote: Hi,
for Workaround you should try to set the Device manually in the 3D tab (e.g. 1080p/24)

Workaround is not working... Or I'm doing something wrong? How to do it? I set TV to 1080p and 24Hz via Catalyst Control Center but there is still same error.

Stereoscopic Player working fine for me with HDMI 1.4 output but it could not play Blu-Ray.

Try using catalyst 11.8. Haven't tested 11.10 myself. 11.9 didn't work. AMP: Hegel H100, DAC: Hegel HD2, Speakers: Tannoy Revolution Signature DC6T, TV: Samsung PS63C7705 (pn63c8000) 63", HTPC: NVIDIA GTX 680, Windows 7 SP1 x64 with blu-ray
