So easy, even a fish could do it!

BUT - I have little experience with 4K stuff, or GoPro, so I'm likely to razz something up! From what I've read, the GoPro 3 shoots at
- 4K at 16:9 (3840×2160) or 17:9 ((4096×2160) @ 12-15 fps
- 2.7K at 16:9 (2716×1524) or 17:9 (2716×1440) @ 24-25/30 fps
- 1080p: up to 60 fps
- 720p: up to 120 fps
- and a few other options
So GoPro has its own standards - 4K & 4K Cin, 2.7K & 2.7K Cin
Robert - those quoted stats (B&H) seem to be at odds with your original question. You'd know best anyway.
Here's a way to make your production profile match the GoPro clips:
1. In the Produce module, select MPEG-4 2K 2048x1152 & click the + button to make a custom profile
2. Under the Video tab, the default bitrate is 4000kbps - change it to match your camera's output
3. Give the profile a name if you like, or remember its label (like GoPro2.7)
4. Save your project & close PD (not completely necessary).
Now - go to C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\11.0 and locate "Profile.ini"
5. Open the .ini file in notepad
6. Locate the custom profile you just made (it'll be the last one)
7. Scan through the text to find "<
Video Width>2048<Video Height>1152<"
8. Change it to <
Video Width>2704<Video Height>1440<
9. Save & close notepad
Now - open your project in PD & go to Produce > MPEG-4 & select your custom profile from the dropdown menu.
10. Name your video & hit Start.
The profile you just created will always be available to you in the Custom dropdown.
I just tested another video sample using that profile & it did the job!
Here are the steps Dafydd posted for editing the profile.ini
