Why am I getting the "either this drive or disc is not ready" message when I try to burn a DVD (new DVD) yet I can burn other files/programs on that drive?

Maybe it is a bad disk?

Did you try another disk?

I found a bad BD disk on my stack of new BluRay disks.
I just tried another disk out of the the same stack.
