I have been getting the same error code. It is VERY annoying.

Along with the code, there should be a plain english explanation.

Just changed my media from Philips DVD-R to TDK DVD+R and solved my problem.
My drive isn't very good too, so I think it's not Power2Go's fault.

Update your firmware and use the latest Power2Go 7.
Use another brand like TDK or else, or try another dvd burner.

I'm thinking it might be the burner, because it only happens on certain DVD's. It could also be a firmware issue, I'll try to update.

Firmware up to date. Upgraded to V7, but still getting burn errors and failure to mount media errors. I have also installed the recent patch.

This is getting really annoying. I would like a plain english explanation of all the error codes that I've been receiving.

The latest is:

0xeb040282

Failure to mount media.

Use another brand for your DVD media. Worked for me.
