Any chance of an update for PowerDVD Ultra OEM owners? Getting a bit sick and tired of those "For Retail version only" updates...

Seriously. What is the point of packaging your software for use with LG drives that we buy, only if it doesn't actually PLAY the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray discs that it's supposed to?
What was the point?

Hi,
I bought an LG drive and keep getting those HDCP errors after the latest updates. Before, everything was ok. I start to think, that a software solution is not appropriate and that I buy an Hardware BD player.
It is realtively easy. Either you fix the problems or you loose the confidence and the good will of your customers.
All the best
Mick

The update patch doesn't work for me either, however AnyDVD allowed me to watch my new BR. After a big investment I was unhappy that Power DVD did not allow me to watch the BR.
I am also dissaponted with Cyberlink.

I'm having the same problem. Downloaded the latest patch for 7 Ultra, which was bundled with my LG player. Suddenly my display isn't HDCP compliant, whereas it was before the update. I'm currently in touch with support and going back and forth giving them info to diagnose the problem. I'm pretty frustrated to say the least, and spending way too much time trying to google my way out of the problem!
Edited to include: It turns out that what broke HDCP for me was using a 2nd graphics adapter. With my EVGA UV+ USB display adapter installed on my system, even if it's disabled, 2 display adapters are detected and therefore break HDCP. So for me, the update was not the problem. It was new hardware.

The latest upgrade also removed my ability to select the audio output format. It won't let me pass through the audio unprocessed.
I think it has something to do with the GeForce 8200. When I used the windows 7 drivers, I had the same problem. After installing Nvidia drivers it started working ok. After the patch, my choice went away. I can't play the latest Harry Potter with the pre-patch version. I can't use True Dolby HD with the patch.
I think the patch is missing something. It need to recognize the HDCP and HDMI capabilities of the GeForce 8200.
Grrrr.

This is not the proper thread for this, but I don't see where I can start a new one, so...
My question is:
Does DirecTV2PC support the new 3D channels from DirecTV?
I have PowerDVD Ultra 10.0 and by PC supports 3D (using Nvidia glasses and AlienWare external monitor).

The next change is to deprecate the support for overly minimal themes. Prior to WordPress 3.0 any theme which was using the relevant template tag but missing any of the following template files – header.php, footer.php, sidebar.php, comments.php, comments-popup.php – would effectively behave as if it has a parent theme defined as ‘default’ using the relevant files from the old default theme.
Now that we are moving to a new default theme we didn’t want to have to support this very old behaviour indefinitely or make it such that the files from the TwentyTen theme were used as they have a different visual layout and would like change peoples existing sites.
Going forward a WordPress theme using the relevant template tags is expected to contain all these files itself, or have them provided by a parent theme, and the theme compatibility files included in WordPress 3.0 will be removed in a future version.
If you are using a theme which is affected by this change then you just need to make sure that you have the default theme installed – it will not be in new installs but will be preserved on upgrades. Then add the following to the comment at the top of the style.css of your theme to make it such that the default theme is used as its parent theme:
