On this forum I prefer not to have the short hand text used on text phone messages.

Reasons: It is impolite to members who come from different cultures and backgrounds with varying degrees of language knowledge and skills. For many of those who do have a thorough grasp of the English language, the text sending style is not wanted here when we have to understand clearly an issue, without trying to decipher spy text shorthand! The English language has a wide variety of slang terms, nuances and innuendo without dragging it lower with poorly constructed sentencing and spelling (typos allowed) using inarticulate text messaging abbreviations more suited to a clatter tapper on a mobile phone.

Keep posts here concise and literate, dump your phone texting thanks
