The Preview quality is set to "High Preview Resolution".
Alright, thanks. Lowering the preview quality and having shadow files on helped eliminate the lag

I've updated the video driver from intel and I can now preview my videos
can produce a copy to the computer and no green screen, and no green screen in the preview mode

Thank you so much. That seems to have fixed it.
Make sure "Enable Hardware Decoding" is NOT checked under Hardware Acceleration preferences.
yellow=not done....green=done.
Are the video files resident on the hard drive where PD10 resides and in the same partition ?
As a added note, in the preview on the program there is no green screens......

you can try to disable HW decode first.
Should have said, I'm running PD10 on a Windows 8 PC.
Click the INTEL link in the earlier post and run their update utility scan.
